Credit Cards: Bluegrass Classics accepts VISA, MasterCard, DISCOVER & American Express for your convenience. When placing your order be sure to include the credit card number and expiration date. If the name on the card is different than the person placing the order please include the card holder’s name, address, home telephone number and business number.

Certified Checks: Bluegrass Classics will accept certified checks as payment. Fill out your check for the total amount of your order, including shipping fees, insurance, any oversize or overweight charges, or crating charges. If you are unsure of the total or charges please call the office and we will verify what charges need to be added. Take the check to your bank and have the teller certify that the funds are there. They will stamp the certification on the check guaranteeing that they will pay the check. We do not hold mail orders for clearance when they are paid for by certified check.

Money Orders: Payment by Money Order will ensure that your order is processed as quickly as possible. The order will usually be shipped within 24 hours of receipt.

Personal Checks: Personal checks must have the name, address, account number and check number preprinted on them. A telephone number where you can be reached during the day is also required. Only first party checks will be accepted. All orders paid for by personal check will be held 15 business days pending clearance of the check. If you need your parts in a hurry, we recommend sending a money order or having your check certified.

UPS Shipments: We make daily shipments by UPS, RPS and/or FedEx. Please provide a complete physical address as They will not deliver to a Post Office Box. UPS will try to deliver your order three Times before returning the items to Bluegrass Classics. UPS will leave a notification slip if no one is available at the shipping address. Contact your local UPS office immediately for delivery of your order. Orders returned to Bluegrass Classics are considered Refused Shipments and applicable restocking charges will be billed.

UPS COD Shipments: COD orders are accepted on all normal UPS shipments. UPS will require Cash or Money Order upon delivery. Personal checks and business checks are not accepted. Bluegrass Classics will not accept COD orders through the mail. COD orders must be placed by phone during regular business hours. Bluegrass Classics will add the appropriate shipping fees. COD orders are exempt from any free shipping policy. The customer will pay all appropriate fees in accordance with Bluegrass Classics current policies, crating and freight rates. The UPS fee for each box will be charged on COD at the current rate charged by UPS. Oversize and/or overweight boxes will be charged in accordance with the current UPS rates for such items. Contact our sales office for actual charges.

UPS 2nd Day Air Delivery: Bluegrass Classics offers UPS 2nd day delivery to the Continental U.S., Hawaii and Alaska. The cost of the 2nd day delivery is substantially greater than normal UPS ground delivery. Bluegrass Classics will ship all 2nd day orders taken before 2:00pm CT, Monday through Friday on the same day the order is prepaid by credit card. A service fee, charged at the current rate, will be added to all 2nd day UPS orders. UPS will deliver the package(s) within 2 working days from the time the order is shipped, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, pending stock availability. Some products are charged at dimensional weight as opposed to actual weight. Contact our sales office for actual shipping rates.

UPS Overnight Delivery: Bluegrass Classics offers UPS overnight delivery with the same qualifications as UPS 2nd day delivery. The cost is sometimes as much as 1 to 2 time greater than UPS 2nd day delivery. Service fee at the current rate will be added to all overnight UPS orders. Contact our sales office for actual shipping charges and rates.

UPS Oversize: All items considered “OS”, oversize, can be shipped via UPS with an oversize rate plus a minimum weight rate of thirty, (30), pounds. Oversize items which are more than thirty, (30), pounds will be charged in accordance with their actual weight. There are many products listen within this catalog which are oversized but may not be indicated as such. We reserve the right to charge an oversize fee on any order which contains oversize products, even though it may not be indicated in the catalog.

Truck Freight: Products that are too large or heavy to be shipped by UPS, (fenders, hoods, etc.), must be shipped by Truck Freight. Your order must be prepaid in advance including freight charges. Bluegrass Classics requires a minimum fee for all out of state truck shipments. Residential deliveries require an additional charge. Please include a commercial business whenever possible. Contact our sales office for the current fees and for any additional information.

Insurance: Each order is shipped fully insured for loss or damage. Insurance is currently fifty cents, (.50), per one hundred dollars in value, ( $100.00). This fee will insure the entire order and protect you completely from damages or loss. Mail order customers must be sure to include this amount in your total. It would be best to check with the sales office to ensure you are using the current fee schedule.

Shipment Tracking: All customer shipments are bar-coded and traceable via the shipper’s internet site or customer service.

Refused COD Shipments: All refused COD orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Bluegrass Classics will consider the entire order cancelled and void with no notification to the customer. The customer will be billed 20% plus all freight charges to and from the destination.

Damage Claims: Always check the contents of your shipment in the presence of the person delivering the merchandise. Should any damage occur, immediately notify UPS or the Truck Freight company delivering your goods to ensure prompt replacement of any damaged goods. Notify Bluegrass Classics customer service department for instructions on returning damaged goods. Bluegrass Classics is not responsible if no notification is given within three (3) days of receipt.

Returns: Products may be returned for a full refund, credit or exchange within 30 days of receipt. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee after 30 days. To return a part for refund, credit or exchange, please contact the customer service or sales department for a return authorization number. Customer will pay the freight on all returns. Bluegrass Classics will not accept returned goods without prior authorization. NOTE: Any item that has been altered, painted, installed or deemed non-resalable by Bluegrass Classics will be returned to the customer. All literature including books, manuals, diagrams and printed materials as well as stencil kits, electrical parts and special order items are nonreturnable due to the nature of the material included.
